NBN-Co 1B, nicknamed Sky Muster II, is a high-throughput communications satellite tasked with providing high-speed broadband service to rural and remote areas of Australia. Launched along with it is the Indian geostationary communications satellite GSAT-18.
Ariane 5 is a heavy-lift launch vehicle, part of the Ariane rocket family.
